About PropRadar

Independent Australian property investment analytics, no buyer's agents, no commissions, no sponsored suburbs.

Also known as Property Radar.

What we do

PropRadar analyses active residential property listings across Australia and turns the surrounding market signals into a single investment lens. We combine listing details, sale evidence, rental estimates, valuation signals, and suburb-level context, then score each property on a consistent 0-100 framework so you can compare opportunities across the country.

The platform is built around two practical investor questions: is this property fairly priced? and does this suburb deserve a closer look right now?

Built for investors who need a shortlist

Most investors do not need another wall of listings. They need a way to find investable suburbs, compare rental yield against capital growth, and spot properties that are worth deeper due diligence before the good ones disappear.

PropRadar helps with the first pass: rank suburbs, check gross and net yield, compare valuation ranges, review market-cycle signals, and save the properties that deserve a second look.

Why independent matters

We are not a real estate agency, buyer's agent, or property marketplace. We don't take commissions from developers, we don't promote listings for payment, and we don't sell leads. Our revenue comes from a small monthly subscription paid by investors, which keeps our incentives aligned with yours.

Every number on every page is derived from the same methodology, applied uniformly. If a suburb scores 30, that's what the data says, we don't adjust for editorial preference.

How we keep the numbers useful

PropRadar combines Australian property-market signals and cross-validates wherever multiple independent indicators exist. The pipeline is deliberately selective: fewer inputs, more validation, clearer confidence labels.

  • Active listings and sale histories, refreshed daily
  • Property valuations blended and cross-checked across multiple independent estimators
  • Rental estimates and yields derived from multiple research panels
  • Demographics, socio-economic indexes, and income from official Australian statistics
  • Capital-city and state aggregates from federal statistical releases and reserve-bank feeds
  • Crime and safety from state police statistics
  • Walkability and accessibility to help compare everyday location quality

Every valuation and investment score is back-tested against sold-property records to measure accuracy and drift. The full methodology, formulas, known limitations, and version history lives on our methodology page.

Who we are

PropRadar is built by a small Australian engineering team that has spent too many weekends comparing listings, rental yields, suburb growth, and valuation estimates by hand. The product grew out of that work: make the research faster, keep the assumptions visible, and help investors move from a messy spreadsheet to a sharper shortlist.

We take responsibility for what appears on the site: if a number looks wrong, email us and we'll investigate the same day.

What we're not

  • We are not a licensed financial adviser, our analytics are general information, not personal advice.
  • We don't replace a buyer's inspection, a solicitor, or a qualified financial adviser on your specific circumstances.
  • We don't forecast individual property prices, we track historical signals and market dynamics.
  • We don't share or sell your data. See our privacy policy.
